The following list represents only highlights of most recent CED client success events.
Royal Castle Child Development Center received a 5th star from “Quality Start”, an initiative of the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services. Quality Start maintains a rigorous and ongoing review process of child care centers in the State of Louisiana. Royal Castle is one of only six child care centers in Louisiana to receive 5 stars and the only center in Orleans Parish to have achieved the honor.

NewCorp, Inc. was selected by Goldman Sachs as one of the Top 20 CDFI’s in the Country. NewCorp, Inc. participates in the Opportunity Finance Network and Goldman Sach’s 10,000 Small Businesses CDFI Growth Collaborative.
Tulane University’s A. B. Freeman School of Business honored the founder and CEO of Goodwork Network, Phyllis Cassidy as its 2011 Social Entrepreneur of the Year.
Success Story: Business and Home Inventory Professionals
Prior to the storm, Michael Hall owned his own tax service franchise. However, as with many New Orleans entrepreneurs, the business was lost following the 
hurricane. After witnessing all of the challenges that residents faced with insurance companies, Hall decided to start a business that would document property and provide a complete written, digital and video inventory to protect people against the unexpected.
